We stayed in mid-October and the colorful trees in the campground were an added bonus
As far as the hosts go, a friendlier and kinder bunch cannot be found
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer
Best campground we have ever stayed in –
We booked for a month and ended up staying 2 1/2 months
Best people there for sure and so peaceful

We stayed in the new section which does not have sewer, but the sites were long, level and wide

Nice and quiet campground with helpful owners and seasonal campers
We chose Forest Ridge because of the proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park without all the traffic and crowds, the access to the Down-East scenic drives, and their positive reviews
The campground is neat and tidy and best of all, quiet and peaceful.
If you want peace and quiet this campground is for you.
Quietest campground we have ever been to. Mostly older retired adults
Barely a sound after eight o’clock.
No loud music or parties or vehicles in and out all night.
Showers were adequate and clean
The campground is clean and well maintained
The peace and quiet here is just fantastic
Our first RV park in Old Orchard was a horrible experience. With that being said, our goal was to find a beautiful RV park between Acadia National Park and Bangor, so we chose Forest Ridge Campground
We we arrived at the campground we were greeted by the owners (Jeff and Lynn). Immediately they made us feel like we were welcomed guests.
The park is so beautiful. The sites were huge compared to the other parks we stayed at
The grass is constantly being maintained. Everyone was so friendly to us.
Restrooms and laundry were immaculate
The park was perfectly located, exactly where we needed it in order to visit all the beauty we traveled so far to experience
No drunks, partying or craziness was allowed
We rode the free LL Bean bus a couple of times into Bar Harbor and was able to go inside several other RV parks on the bus route. They all looked so crowded and mundane.
I honestly feel we made the best choice by choosing Forest Ridge Campground
